I was born in Paris in 1963 and grew up in Casablanca. I went back to Paris for study, and stayed for work. I followed a path that led me from engineering sciences to human sciences and a new ambition took shape: “to discover the Other, to understand it, to witness its beauty”.

I opened my view of the world, that I expressed with all the sensitivity of black and white photography, technique I learned  from my passionate father, and that I have been practicing since 1992. I finally returned to Morocco, and decided a few years later to devote myself entirely to my art. Since 2008, my images are regularly exhibited, notably in Casablanca, Rabat, and Marrakech.

I then increasingly involved myself in the organization of photo workshops in order to share and pass on my passion, and I lead for three years the photography department of the cultural foundation L’Uzine in Casablanca. At the end of 2018, I decided to refocus exclusively on my own production.

In 2019, I joined the photography agency Hans Lucas and explored documentary photography to bear witness to the causes that touch me (especially through the realisation of a photobook on public schools in Morocco) – while continuing at the same time to dream and make people dream through my artistic photography more than ever turned to escape and contemplation.

Foggy beach
